You can define how a text behaves in the bounding box by using wrap text in your Studio video or image design. Wrap text automatically breaks a line of text to fit within the text element bounding box without adjusting the font size. In addition, you can Shrink text to fit which automatically adjusts the font size on a line of text to fit within the text element bounding box. You can control the minimum size of the font as it shrinks by using the slider or manually entering the minimum size percentage.
Who can set the wrap mode of text in Studio?
- Admin
- Content Designers
- Navigate to Studio
- Create a new design or edit an existing one.
- Select or create a text element.
- In the right-hand side settings pane, two text wrap modes are available.
- By default, Text wrap is set to shrink.
- (Optional) Auto-resize text can be selected from the dropdown.
- If the minimum font size for this option is reached the text can extend out of the bounding box.
- If the minimum font size for this option is set to lower than 100% the text will break into a new line until the bounding box is filled. When the bounding box is full the text will try to stay within the box by scaling until the minimum font size is reached.
- (Optional) Wrap text option breaks a line of text to fit within the bounding box without adjusting the font size.
- (Optional) Limit text to bounding box: Control if the text should stay limited to the bounding box or if it's allowed to overflow outside of the bounding box.
- By default, Text wrap is set to shrink.
- Click Save > Publish.
