Lock an Element in Studio

Content Designers and Admins have the ability to restrict what Content Creators (end users) can edit in a design. By locking certain elements in your design you can prevent changes to certain elements ie. logo or background image in a template.

1. Navigate to Studio.

2. Either create a new design or edit an existing one. 

3. Click Edit design. 

4. In the timeline below the canvas, click the element you would like to lock. On the left-hand side, click the lock  .

5. Save your changes in between by clicking on the Save changes.

6. Once you are ready to lock your elements you can publish the design by clicking Publish in the top-right corner.
