Search for Text in Images

In the search bar, you can enter a command (OCR:) to find a keyword or phrase that appears in an image. This helps increase your search results by leveraging the text within images in the search results. In addition, using this command limits the search to only the text contained within the image, excluding text within the metaproperties or in a document.

How to enable search for text in images

Contact your Customer Success Manager to learn more about enabling this feature and any associated costs.

Search for text in images

1. In the search box of your Asset Bank, enter OCR: followed by a word or sentence.
   
   

   Note

   Searches in English, Spanish, German, French, Italian, Portuguese, and Arabic are supported.

2. Click Enter to initiate the search.
3. Images with the word or sentence will be returned.
   
4. You will receive a No results message if nothing matches your search.
