Upload and Manage Personal Assets in Studio

You can upload and manage images, videos, or audio assets that are not hosted in your Bynder Asset Bank in the Uploads section of Studio. The assets that live in your Bynder Asset Bank can be found in Global Assets. 

To make the uploaded assets found in Uploads available to all Studio users please contact your Customer Success Manager to learn more about this feature and any associated costs.

Upload Assets to Uploads

By default, any asset uploaded to the Uploads section of Studio will only be available to the uploader, and cannot be shared with other users. Learn about the Studio-supported file types.

1. Navigate to Studio and click Uploads in the left-side bar.
2. Click to select an asset from your computer to upload.
   • You can only upload one asset at a time.

3. Once complete your asset will appear in the Upload Tab.

Rename, Download or Delete an Asset

1. Navigate to your Uploads

2. Select the asset you would like to perform action to.

3. Click modify. 

4. Save Changes.

   • If you delete an asset uploaded to Uploads it will be permanently deleted from Studio. 

View Uploads

1. Navigate to Studio.
2. Click Uploads in the left sidebar.
3. Navigate to All uploads section to view all the personal assets you've uploaded to Studio or click Collections to view assets in one of your Studio collections.
   • Use the search bar in the top menu to find assets or filter for specific assets.
   • Switch between the List and Masonry views by clicking the corresponding button in the top menu bar.
   • Click an asset to open a larger preview.

Manage Uploads

Create a Collection

The collections in Studio are personal. Unlike DAM collections, they can't be shared with other users and can't be used outside of Studio. A collection has to already exist in Studio for it to show on the dropdown list.

1. Navigate to Studio.
2. Click Uploads in the left-sidebar.
3. Select + New Collection in the top right-hand corner.
4. Enter a name.
5. Click Create collection.
6. Navigate back to All Uploads and begin selecting assets to add to your Collection. You can select one or more assets at a time.
7. Click  
8. Select the collection from the dropdown and click Add to collection.
   
   • If you upload an asset while in a collection, it will automatically be added to that collection.
   • A collection has to already exist in Studio for it to show on the dropdown list.

Rename, Download, or Delete a Collection

1. Navigate to your Uploads > Collections.

2. Select the asset you would like to perform action to.

3. Click > Save Changes.

   • If you delete a collection it will be permanently deleted from Studio. 

   • Designs and/or templates where these assets are being used will no longer work properly.
